From the cosy quilts to the open fireplace, from the sauna to the wet rooms. Home cooked meals served in the vaulted living room or use the kitchen to prepare your own meals.

The Gite is a four story traditional mountain building, an entrance hall with a sauna, then kitchen area, then the bathroom with 2 showers, 3 basins and 3 toilets. On the second floor, there is 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bunk bed, then a bedroom with 2 bunk beds and a double bed, then on the top floor is a bedroom with 4 single beds. With a capacity of 15 beds and for larger groups, it is possible to rent the apartment as well, for a total of 23 beds.

The large vaulted living room is on the ground floor, with an open fireplace and lounge. The bar hides a dish washer.

Within the chalet is a large three story self-contained apartment with accommodation for 6 - 8 guests. Entrance hall with a sauna leading into a small lounge through to a large kitchen, dining area with open plan lounge. Bathroom with shower and separate toilet. TV DVD, dish washer, washing machine, micro wave cooker, bed linen supplied, large balcony with table and seating.

• Bedroom 1 - 4 single beds.
• Bedroom 2 - 1 double bed and 1 single.
• Bedroom 3 - 2 single beds.

  I came to the Alpes in 1979 to stay for a winter season, and never went back!
We bought this old stone barn in 1983 to make a gite. Sardonne was at that time nearly deserted with only three old men living here, now there are nearly forty of us.<

By road: From Grenoble take the RD 1091 towards Vizille and the Stations de l'Oisans, at Rochetaillée turn left towards Allemont, Oz then take the first right to Villard Reculas, Sardonne is the first mountain hamlet that you'll come to.
